Thrill is for people 13 and up to stream, chat and support each other. These rules apply everywhere on Thrill: streams, replays, chat, whispers, posts, profiles, names and pictures. They apply to what you do off Thrill too when it's aimed at people here. If something breaks them, use 🚩 Report and our moderators will look at it.
1. Treat people with respect
- No harassment, bullying, or encouraging others to pile on someone. Disagreeing is fine; targeting a person is not.
- No hate: nothing that attacks people for race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or serious illness.
- No threats of violence, and nothing that celebrates or encourages violence against real people.
- Respect when someone blocks you, leaves your chat or asks you to stop.
2. Keeping young people safe
Many people here are under 18. We have zero tolerance for anything that sexualises, grooms or exploits a child.
- Never ask anyone under 18 for pictures, personal details, to move to another app, or to keep secrets from their parents or carers.
- Adults must not pursue private or romantic contact with under-18s.
- We remove this content, ban the account permanently, and report it to the police and child protection organisations.
3. No sexual content or nudity
- No nudity, pornography or sexual acts, and no sexually explicit chat, posts, pictures or names.
- Swimwear is fine where it fits, like at the beach or pool. Streams built around sexualising yourself or others are not.
4. Dangerous and harmful content
- Nothing that encourages self-harm, suicide or eating disorders. If you're struggling, please reach out: in the UK call or text Samaritans on 116 123, or Shout on 85258; in the US call or text 988.
- No dangerous challenges or stunts likely to get someone hurt.
- No selling or promoting illegal drugs, weapons or other illegal goods, and no instructions for serious crimes.
- No gambling with real money, or promoting gambling sites, on stream.
5. Streaming in real life (IRL)
- Don't stream while driving.
- Don't stream people in private places (homes, toilets, changing rooms) without their permission, and respect anyone who asks you not to film them.
- Follow local laws and the rules of the places you visit.
6. Privacy
- No sharing someone's private information: home address, phone number, school, private photos, or anything that helps someone find or target them (doxxing).
- Don't share whispers or private messages to embarrass someone.
7. Be honest
- No pretending to be another person, streamer, brand or Thrill staff.
- No scams, fake giveaways, phishing links, or asking people to send money or Sparks for something you won't deliver.
- No selling or buying Sparks, accounts or followers for real money outside Thrill.
- No spam: repeated messages, unwanted advertising, or bots.
- No fake viewers, fake follows, or anything that games the numbers.
8. Other people's work
- Only stream and post things you have the right to share. Playing games is usually fine; rebroadcasting films, TV, sports or other people's streams is not.
- Background music you don't have rights to may get your replays removed.
- If you think something on Thrill infringes your copyright, contact us at the contact address shown on this page (coming soon); until then, use the 🚩 Report button with the link and details of your work.
9. Don't break Thrill
- No hacking, cheating our systems, getting into other people's accounts, or getting around a ban with a new account.
- Found a security problem? Tell us privately at the contact address shown on this page (coming soon); until then, use the 🚩 Report button instead of using it.
10. What happens if rules are broken
Moderators decide based on how serious it is and whether it's happened before. They may:
- remove the message, post, replay or picture;
- give a warning, which you'll see the next time you visit;
- give a timed ban (1 hour up to 30 days) that stops you streaming, chatting and posting;
- give a permanent ban for serious or repeated problems, and always for anything involving the exploitation of children.
Streamers can also time out or ban people from their own chat. If you think we got it wrong, email the contact address shown on this page (coming soon); until then, use the 🚩 Report button with your username and what happened, and someone who wasn't involved will look again.
